Ladylike- Create an Outfit

Using 'Create an outfit' on Asos's Fashion Finder, I used the dress as an inspiration for this outfit. From a deep red clutch, and deep red shoes, which contrast perfectly with the coral, to gold, vintage jewellery, and 40's style coat. This Ladylike look would look ideal at Fashion Week.

This 40's inspired, Ladylike dress is perfect for AW11. The detailing is perfect, and delicate, which sparkles nicely against the coral colour.

ABOUT STELLA MCCARTNEY
Stella McCartney became interested in designing clothes at age 13, when she made her first jacket. Three years later, she interned for Christian Lacroix, working on his first fashion design collection, honing her skills working for Edward Sexton, her father's Savile Row tailor for a number of years. She studied her foundation at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication, fashion design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in the early 1990s. Her graduation collection in 1995 was modelled by friends and supermodels Naomi CampbellYasmin Le Bon and Kate Moss – for free – at the graduation runway show. The collection was shown to a song penned by her famous father, called "Stella May Day."
Stella McCartney's Winter 11 collection is perfect for the Fetish Trend. Its a very sexy collection, with sophistication, and class.

Heritage - Carven

ABOUT CARVEN
Since its creation in 1945, the Carven fashion house has promoted a particularly democratic vision of fashion. A woman who was free and unshackled by convention, Madame Carven entered the rarefied world of 1940’s haute couture as a complete novice, bringing with her a freshness and spontaneity of style that resembled the daily lives of women of the time. She was the first to offer accessible luxury and to capture the spirit of the moment through her simple and refined designs, inspired by Parisian chic where style took precedence over ostentation.

Possibly my ultimate favourite designer, all of Carven's collections i have a genuine love for. But seeing as i am focussing on the Heritage look for this seasons AW11, Carven's Winter 10 and 11 i think are both perfect. The collections are more traditional, with more earthy colours, unlike Henry Holland.

Heritage - Henry Holland AW11

House of Holland - AW 11
One of my favorite Designers for this year's AW11 look, and also fitting in with Heritage, is Henry Holland's House of Holland AW11 collection.

ABOUT HOUSE OF HOLLAND
Graduating from the London College of Printing with a BA Journalism, Henry Holland used his way with words to catapult himself into the fashion limelight, with his ‘Fashion Groupies’ slogan t-shirts. Witty mottos such as “Get Your Freak On Giles Deacon”, created a stir within the fashion world, resulting in Holland being snapped up by the prestigious Fashion East collective. Designed with the London girl aesthetic in mind,
House of Holland creates eclectic collections, with focus on vibrantly kitsch prints and bold, contrasting textures.

Heritage

Dust off your Crombie – British heritage designs and fabrics are having a major moment. Tweed, plaid, herringbone and more featured heavily on the catwalk, her ladyship has definitely returned to the manor.
This coat that I found on Asos I think describes Heritage very well, adding a twist to the traditional fitted 'tweed jacket' by it being a boyfriend blazor.
